Sarah Headrick graduated with a degree in psychology from the University of Notre Dame where she also ran cross-country and track. Her psychology degree has come in handy while explaining to her daughter that she (meaning her daughter) does not actually know everything. Her running skills have proven useful in chasing her son down to convince him he really must wear pants. Sarah currently lives with her husband and two young children in Western Springs, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Sarah is excited to be a part of Custom Made For Kids and running a business that allows her to spend plenty of time with her family.

Sarah Rivera graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin and received a law degree from the Northwestern University School of Law. She lives in Hinsdale, Illinois with her husband and their two young sons. After her first son was born, Sarah quit her job as a lawyer in a large Chicago law firm to stay home with her newborn. She now has the best two little bosses in the world! Sarah loves this stage of her life spending with her kids and being a part of this incredibly satisfying and creative business.
Sarah and Sarah's Story
Sarah and Sarah’s friendship began when they met several years ago at a weekly suburban playgroup. Their first-borns were six months old and ready for some serious socialization. After interacting primarily with newborns for six months, however, it was really the adults who needed to socialize. So, while their children drooled on each other's toys, the playgroup moms cemented their friendship over the shared experiences of leaky diapers, stubborn stains and cranky babies.
First birthdays and second babies came along and the moms found themselves buying new baby, baptism and birthday gifts almost constantly. Sarah and Sarah realized the gifts they most enjoyed giving and receiving were those that were somehow personalized and had special meaning for the recipient's family.
Custom Made For Kids was born out of their desire to give people the opportunity to easily create memorable gifts for the special children in their lives. Their first book, The First Adventures of Incredible You, is one of the most highly personalized children’s books on the market today. Customers are able to “build” a one-of-a kind book at the Custom Made for Kids website where they enter over 20 details about the child and those people and places that are most important to the child. From tasting a favorite family food to cheering on a beloved sports team to visiting a special vacation spot or park, the book celebrates the wonder of the first adventures of every young child that “stars” in the book. Children and parents alike are raving about the keepsake book and Sarah and Sarah are thrilled with the success they are enjoying as first-time authors and business owners.
