Blissfully Domestic Praises Our Personalized Children's Books

It's not news to anyone that bloggers love product reviews. We receive a great product in exchange for writing about it, and it is an opportunity for fun content for our readers.

But did you know that sometimes we get to review items that make us downright giddy?

I never know what is going to strike my fancy, and I've been known to get most excited about a new cleaning product. But this time I stumbled across a custom children's book that I have decided needs to be received by every new mom.

Each book created by Custom Made for Kids is customized to the life of the child via a questionnaire filled out online. After inputting specifics such as a favorite family meal and who prepares it, the street that you live on, and a favorite vacation spot, these unique aspects of your family's life are integrated into a beautiful book. Here is a passage from the copy of The First Adventures of Incredible You that we created for our son's third birthday. I love that it makes reference to his time spent with his older sister:

"There will be nothing more perfect
than rain on a warm spring day,
you and Emma
jumping in puddles and splashing away"

I love the idea of family members working together to complete the online questionnaire to create a unique gift for a new baby. What a wonderful treasure this book will be to any child who receives it!
