When I was a kid, my grandmother had one of those personalized books made for me. It was the 1970’s so naturally it was triflingly lame. Compare it with the delicious feeling pages, yummy rich colors, and poetic text of the Custom Made For Kids
First Adventures of Incredible You books and my circa 1979 book is a complete joke. Yes, I still have it, but it is full of typos (it was actually done on a TYPEWRITER!) and the graphics and story totally reek. No- I’m no ungrateful- my grandma couldn’t help it that technology sucked back in the day.

The First Adventures of Incredible You, is written by two moms and YOU! You get to personalize your book to be all about the child who will be receiving it. The lucky child will see their name, the names of friends and family, their birthday, favorite parks and foods, and many other personal details on the glossy brilliantly hued pages illustrated by an urban folk artist.
The quality of this hardcover book is amazing. The pages are thick and slide smoothly through your fingers as you turn them. We don’t have any other books in our extensive children’s library collection at home that look or feel like this book does.
The First Adventures of Incredible You is truly heirloom quality- a great keepsake at a very affordable price. Plus, the gifter’s name is printed inside the front cover, along with the year, so the child won’t forget who presented them with this fantastic gift.
