I was saving this contest for last because I think it is such a unique and fun prize.
Custom Made for Kids creates personalized Children's Books and Gifts. Now I know that there is a huge market out there for customizable products from blankets, to mugs, to well....books!
But this product is really something special.
I get a lot of offers to do reviews and host giveaways, and I honestly only choose the items that I know my readers will love, but in this case, even I was surprised at how much I love this product.
To receive my customized book, I went to the Custom Made for Kids website and filled out a questionnaire of sorts. The fact that just this step in the process made me a little weepy should have clued me in to what was to come. I chose to create a book for my son's 3rd birthday next month, so the first step was to customize the dedication. However, I then was asked leading questions such as a favorite meal my child will always remember and who prepared it. Typing in "Pap's lasagna" nearly sent me over the mommy tears edge!
The questions that I answered regarding favorites and family experiences all led to this beautiful book that I received:
The First Adventures of Incredible You.
The book is a nice sized, glossy hardcover with gorgeous illustrations and text that melts the heart.

I think these books make wonderful birthday present, pre-school graduation, or even kindergarten graduation gifts, but I think their biggest value is as a baby shower gift. Imagine presenting a mom to be with a customized book welcoming her child into the world and letting him know all the fun that is in store!
