Creating Your Store's Product Page
Step 1) Take a look at a test page example.
Click for Example. This example shows the basic elements of presenting the purchase process to your customers.
Step 2) Create a product page in your store for
The First Adventures of Incredible You. Custom Made For Kids has many product shots (located in the "Press Room") and descriptions of the book are available upon request.
The product page will include two buttons:
a) Personalize Your Book Button You may use the following HTML code containing the button that is used to open the pop-up form for collecting the book’s personalization information. It is this personalization information that will be sent directly to Custom Made For Kids.
Note: You must replace the YOUR-DOMAIN-NAME portion of the query string in the code below with your store's domain name. For example, if your store is "www.acme.com", then the "?partnerId=YOUR-DOMAIN-NAME" should be replaced with "?partnerId=acme.com"
You can make cosmetic or functional changes to this code as necessary to best keep with your site's design.
b) Order Button for The First Adventures of Incredible YouThis button will add the book to the customer’s shopping cart in your online store. Customers should not be able to order the book without first completing the personalization step.
Step 3) Place a Test Order
Place a test order within your store and send it to Custom Made For Kids to verify that the customization information was received properly.
Processing Orders
1) You will send Custom Made For Kids an email whenever an order for
The First Adventures of Incredible You is placed. The email will include the shipping method that the customer chooses and any “extras” (e.g., gift wrap, expedited shipping). Custom Made For Kids will use the customer’s email address and order date to locate that customer’s personalization information (i.e., that information sent directly to Custom Made For Kids when the customer utilizes the “personalize your book” button.)
Note: Please do not send your customer's credit card information to Custom Made For Kids.
2) Custom Made For Kids will contact your customer via email only if there is a problem with a book’s personalization information. If the online store would prefer that Custom Made For Kids not contact its customers directly, the processing time will be delayed until the proper information can be obtained.
3) Custom Made For Kids will charge your store's credit card for the wholesale price of the book plus the drop shipping fee (Custom Made For Kids will keep the store's credit card number on file in accordance with the Drop Shipping Agreeement).
4) Custom Made For Kids will process the customer’s order and ship it directly to the customer. We will notify you by email when the order has shipped.
